The Disaster Resistant Communities Group was established to provide a host of disaster planning and preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation services to local, regional, state and national agencies and departments as well as community and faith based organizations. They are well-known for their Just-In-Time Disaster Training Library and for hosting monthly virtual exercises that are for a wide range of organizations.

DisasterNet offers a newsletter that provides information on innovative projects and research that leverage the power of information and technology for disasters and resilience. A roundup of top stories is emailed out every Friday.

Do 1 Thing is a non-profit whose mission is to move individuals, families, businesses and communities to prepare for all hazards and become disaster resilient. Their website offers simple steps to prepare communities and families for disasters.
SPIN Global
SPIN Global provides solutions that help public and private sector agencies improve coordination prior to a disaster. They address coordination challenges with distinct focus on the use of technology as a catalyst for change. Their team has traversed 30 nations providing faithbased and global humanitarian relief and has led regional and national level flagship homeland security and emergency preparedness initiatives for the U.S. government, engaging 40+ states and hundreds of local agencies and private sector companies. They are a socially conscious organization that donates 10% annual profits to our nonprofit affiliate to support local innovations that reduce global poverty.
